PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
TRANS MOUNTAIN PIPELINE
In Kamloops, BC, we played a crucial role in the early stages of the TransMountain Pipeline project. Our team provided bore support with the assistance of hydro vac and sealed end dump trucks, ensuring the successful launch of the project. As the pipeline extended to the Hope spread, our expertise in bore support continued, utilizing a fleet of sealed end dump trailers and trucks. In addition to these services, we contributed to right-of-way clearing, where our hayrack tractors efficiently transported trees and brush, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow. 216 Heavy Haul’s involvement extended to specialty piling projects, where our dedicated crew specialized in the Birminghamer wet piling system, allowing us to pile straight into rock formations with precision.
COASTAL GAS LINK (CGL)
Throughout 2022 and 2023, 216 Heavy Haul has been actively engaged in the CGL Coastal Gas Link project in Prince George, BC. Our work primarily focused on sheet pile installation, which required the expertise of our skilled crew and crawler crane.
In addition, we provided essential equipment and staffing for efficient dump site management. Our services expanded to cater to various projects across British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, where we offered rental equipment. This rental inventory included aggregate processing equipment, such as tracked screeners and crushers, and heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, rock trucks, and compactors.
For heavy-load transportation needs, our Lowbed services are equipped to handle substantial capacity, boasting 85-tonne capacity and a 12-axle configuration with deck and rail options. Our involvement extends to the wood grinding and hauling business, backed by super B chip trailers and walking floor trailers.
To ensure the reliability of our equipment and the projects we're involved in, we maintain our own service division. In addition to our base of operations, we have a dedicated Alberta division and yard, allowing us to efficiently serve clients across Western Canada.
